AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB
EVENT TITLE ABBREVIATIONS
The AKC has numerous events
which offer the chance for a dog to receive a title. Dogs who have achieved a
title are entitled to have those titles listed on any pedigrees, certificates
or catalogs. These titles become an official part of the records maintained by
the AKC. The "official" titles and abbreviations listed below are
derived from AKC publications and are copyrighted by the AKC.
