Dog Show Progression

This chart represents the normal progression of dog show judging from the regular classes in each breed up to the best in show for an all-breed show. Some shows do have an over 12 mos. to under 18 mos. class.

Judging is simply an elimination contest in all seven groups with the best in show winner being the only dog undefeated at the end of the day.
