US Animal Hospitals: You can locate an animal hospital near you on this site for all types of animals. Very needed resource.
The American Kennel Club: Here you can register your dog. This is a very informative site.
The American Spaniel Club: The ASC has been maintaining cocker spaniel registrations much longer than the AKC. There is a very good database on their site for following your dogs' pedigree. We managed to trace ours back to Obo with it.
Dog Bite Law: Legal info on owning dogs and legal recourse for dog laws throughout America. This site is authored by a reknown dog law attorney that only works with dog laws.
English Cocker Spaniel Club of America: Did most of the research responsible for the separation of Cocker and English breeds.
The Kennel Club of England: Englands premier kennel club. Helped to make the American Cocker Spaniel breed distinctive from the English breed. Lots of good info on this site.
The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals: For over 40 years, this organization has maintained databases and provided testing for many genetic diseases known to dogs.
The Veterinary Medical Database: The VMDB maintains dna and cerf databases and provides testing.
Veterinarian Information for Dogs: This site is authored by a veterinarian. There is a dog encyclopedia here that explains many health issues with your dog.
Cockers-Online: This site has an excellent and well maintained database of american cocker spaniel registries. It has a pedigree generator that even allows for reverse pedigree research, as well as, sibling research.
